Resumo

Treatment processes of a refinery petroleum plant have invariably been facing technological problems when related to processes of corrosion of their protective internal coverings of their appropriate equipments. Specifications should be foreseen from way to eliminate the risk of deterioration of the equipments, due to the product of the process Media individually. It was observed in the continues generation of these projects, that two identical dimensionally equipments and obeying the same project requirements, are individually manufactured, to assist resistance variations to the corrosion for different media. Then, the possibility of the production of a single component that could operate simultaneously with two of different processes medias should be a powerful technician-economical attraction that cannot be denied. By the use of a technologically appropriate barrier, separating these medias in a same column, we are obtained the safety of the corrosion warranty for each one of the coverings requested in the specific ways of the equipment operation. We believe that this philosophy supported by this kind of technology, shall dictate a new project tendency, when the project criteria are equal themselves. Therefore, the objective of this work is to describe the technological aspects of the manufacturing and design of a separation chamber (a semi-elliptic head) inside of a distillation petroleum column, capable to assist the requirements of corrosion of the grades 316-L and 317-L of the process medias actuating simultaneously. In this method, a C-Mn steel plate (ASME-SA-516-60) with structural purpose, is acquired with one of the protective surface covered already (Cladding), as a result of the direct co lamination of the austenitic 316L (3mm thick) covering grade with the carbon-steel. The opposite surface requesting the other corrosion resistive covering, are obtained by the manual deposition with FCAW of that requested composition grade ER317-L. Since the results is a cladding, the final composition in 317-L, is only adjusted through the previous deposition of one layer (3mm) of ER-309-MoL.The process is accompanied by a special device (Jig), capable to hold tight/fasten the plate against it, in other to minimize the warping of the plate, during the covering process by electric-arch. The final result is a sandwich, (bi-cladding) of a structural steel, by two different grades of stainless-steel.
