Eletromiografia: validade diagnóstica para disfunção temporomandibular
Abstract
A análise do sinal eletromiográfico tem sido amplamente empregada por clínicos e pesquisadores para avaliar a função muscular. O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar mediante revisão de literatura a validade diagnóstica da eletromiografia para avaliação e tratamento de Disfunção Temporomandibular. Foi concluído que os problemas metodológicos que dificultam as pesquisas relacionadas à eletromiografia estão relacionados à falta de padronização entre os estudos no que diz respeito aos eletrodos e a sua colocação sobre o músculo, protocolos de mensuração e métodos de processamento de sinal.Downloads
