Radar absorbing materials based on MnZn ferrite (8-12 GHz)
Abstract
The aim of the present work is to study the influence of MnZn ferrite concentration on absorption properties of radar absorbing material (RAM), in the X-band, using epoxy matrix, for a fixed thickness equal to 3 mm and ferrite concentration varying from 30% to 55% (w/w). The obtained RAM showed that their absorption is function of ferrite concentration. The RAM with ferrite concentration equal to 45% showed the best value of absorption at 10 GHz (99,8%) due to impedance matching between the air and RAM.Downloads
