Application of Petri Net to identification and transport system for three different products

Abstract

This work has as bigger objective to prove the automation of a productive sequence through the algebraic concepts and graphical of Petri net. It is possible carrying through the discrete modeling or modeling for events of the involved equipment in the process, thus has a productive operating for concepts proved and mathematically independent sequence only of the experiences of the designers. This paper consists of the modeling of a system of manufacture flexible (FMSs) with the application of the mathematical and graphical tools of Petri net in the interaction of the different systems and equipment involved in the process, identifying the limitations, security, blockades (deadlocks), the competitions and parallelisms of the system, simulating all the stages and possible ways and the states that the model can reach, thus can be foreseen situations of possible blockades in the process. Through the modeling of Petri net, reaches a high level of productive efficiency of the system considered for the analysis of the performance and execution of the identification and transport process of different types of products through the sequence of detonation of the Petri net of the process. The conceptual results had been proven with the application of a simulator of Petri net.
