Education in energy: essential factor of behavioural change for the rational use of energy
Abstract
The human development is strongly associated to the use of the energy. In recent past the sources of energy were seen as abundantly available for the human needs, and the environment a great reservoir, where the residues were thrown without apparent consequences. Today, the reality has been showing that the readiness of energy, considering the sources didn't renew, it is limited and the exploration, the processing and the use of the energy have tax considerable impacts to the environment. That has been putting the energy in the center of the discussions and proposals of minimization of those impacts have been presented as the conservation of energy and the use of renewable sources of energy. However, in spite of the efforts of the world community's part worried with the future of the planet, the rhythm of the changes has not been adapted to the necessary, as it is verified in the difficulties of implementation of measures as extolled them in the Calendar 21 and in the protocol of Kyoto. Like this the pollution indexes are still growing. Specialists affirm that it will be necessary a significant effort in education to develop in the people the conscience on the causes and nature of the crises of energy, the perception of the bond between energy and environment, the need to promote the form development sustained, the democratization of the use of the energy and the humanity's vital dependence in relation to the nature. This work discusses the problems related to the use of renewable sources and you didn't renew of energy and the education aspects for a larger understanding and changes in the people's behavior in relation to the use of energy.Downloads
