Abstract

This semester, a project was started to create a robotic unit. Four students were involved, divided into two teams, and each team developed its own robot. Under specialized guidance, the professor provided guidance on the objectives and limits within which the groups should develop their projects. It was determined that the robotic units would have to pass tests of strength, speed, durability, ability to push objects, go over rough roads and, finally, a clash between the prototypes developed and built by the two teams. Initially, the robots were designed using steel, but due to the capacity of the Arduino (6V), it was necessary to replace the proposed material with a lighter material. The calculations and drawings were updated in the Inventor 3D design software. We are currently in the printing phase of the parts, using the 3D printer available on the College's premises. It was concluded that this methodology has a positive impact on student development.
