Contribution of the Logistics in the Industry of the Brazilian Civil Construction

Resumen

The civil construction throughout the years did not give the due importance to the related questions

the logistics. The concern of managing the age, basically, with the technician-descriptive area. The evolution felt

in other sectors of the manufacture industry was not always accompanied by, coexisting wastefulness and the

common improvisation to the environment of the civil construction. This can be understood by the fact of its

main subsectors, constructions and weighed construction, to present until then, low competitiveness that had

lead to this situation. In the current days, the competitiveness became more incited evidencing the necessity to

revert this picture by means of an obligatory motivation of the entrepreneurs of the sector. The logistics one is

the process to plan, to implement and to control in efficient way the flow and the storage of products, good,

services and information associates, covering since the origin point until the consumption point, with the

objective to take care of to the requirements of the consumer - concept incorporated in the industrial

companies, with some benefits to the good performance of the same ones. Therefore, also applicable to the

industry of the civil construction, however, for this it is necessary a process of awareness and spreading to the

entrepreneurs of the sector, the benefits and the advantages propitiated for the logistic technology, being able

to be, even though as a strategical and competitive differential of its company.
