Abstract

Neuroengineering is a bridge that connects the human brain to technology, enabling interaction with intelligent machines working side by side. In this sense, this review seeks to help companies improve the organization and management of their employees, focusing on the physical and mental health of the workforce and thus eliminate or minimize serious risks that affect mental health, as artificial intelligence (AI) is intrinsically transforming jobs, from the automation of tasks to the creation of new professions. The methodology used included bibliographic research and publications related to the topic. Trained facial recognition algorithms help interpret human mood and feelings of physical or mental overload. As a result, the automation of repetitive and routine activities frees workers to focus on more complex tasks, which often stress workers by exceeding cognitive limits. This can be mitigated with new professional profiles and in-house training. It is concluded that mitigating risks that affect human health requires training to reskill and improve workforce skills, focusing on competencies that complement the shared work environment with AI.
