Abstract

This work has been based on the company Cameron of Brazil, in this case on the product design engineering department. Although the existing building is new, no calculation has been provided to determine the thermal charge to ensure the correct specification of the air-conditioning equipment. The calculation of the thermal charge of the environment to be conditioned is the first step in specifying the air-conditioning systems. The study of the engineering floor will show that the correct specification of air-conditioning equipment can reduce electricity consumption and reach satisfactorily the thermal comfort.
