The speed of transformation of the world market combined with the fierce competitiveness arising from the desire for new products and new technologies has resulted in the growing demand for the search for knowledge about the expectations of the market in which organizations operate to face the problem of introducing new products, faster than competitors, without increasing costs and guaranteeing the desired quality.
In this context, the insertion of a new product becomes an important point in the organizational strategy for facing competition, with life cycle management understanding the ideal point to start the development process of a new product, becoming the determining factor in the survival of organizations.
The present work aims to use the simultaneous engineering methodology integrated into the new product development process, supporting corporate strategies to face competition, by reducing cycles and costs and increasing project quality.
