Abstract

The current article brings reports of practical educational experience daily connected to citizen journalism, the basis of which is part of the Lupa NH hyperlocal information project, a pioneer project in the Novo Horizonte neighborhood, in Macapá, Amapá. The goal is to show that, through geolocation and using the precepts of citizen journalism, it is possible to make individuals become producers of informative content of social relevance in a citizen way and, using connected digital technological tools, acquiring autonomy and authority to tell their own stories, sometimes ignored by traditional media. Therefore, for the verification of data and report narrated here through descriptive research, action research and bibliographic research were also used.
