Abstract

This study presents a compilation of occurrences of Paroaria coronata, in Santa Catarina, Brazil, with a new record for the state in the municipality of Itajaí. This state is not part of the original area of occurrence of the species, presenting records of the same since 1993, and in less than 30 years it is possible to find specimens in practically all regions of Santa Catarina.
